Tatiara Industrial Repairs (T.I.R) provides an engineering, fabrication, machine shop, maintenance, break down and repair service to people and businesses of the Tatiara District in their workshop and on-site.  They believe that by establishing the business they have provided a service, capturing a piece of the market that wasn't previously catered for.  The main operating hours are 7AM to 5PM Monday to Friday, with weekend work when necessary and a mobile call out service.

Tatiara Industrial Repairs (T.I.R.) premises are situated at "Kalos Park", Nalang Road, Bordertown approximately 6 kms south of Bordertown - off the Frances Road. We commenced the business in 1998 as a 20 hours per week - one man mobile operation, and this has steadily and consistently grown where at present we are employing 8 permanent staff.  We have a 30m x 21m shed/workshop located approximately 2kms south of Tatiara Seeds. We have our workshop ideally set up for construction of shed frames with overhead gantries leading into a large capacity saw.

Our work extends to the local industrial, agricultural and viticultural enterprises throughout the Tatiara and adjoining districts.  Over the last few years we have undertaken various projects including work for Tatiara Meat Company including major and minor construction, shed extensions and modifications for existing and new plant. General maintenance and manufacturing (i.e. conveyors and augers) in our workshop and then installing on site.

Other abattoir work has been for Teys Bros at Naracoorte, Primo Meat Pt Wakefield and last year we fabricated and erected a shed extension for an Abattoir in the Riverland.  We have recently completed a 36x21x5 metre high shed for a local customer. Having involvement with the Olive, Potato, Onion, Grape and Meat Industries we have completed numerous factory upgrades and installations both manufacturing and installation of processing equipment and installation of pre-manufactured process lines. Through various suppliers we are able to access a wide range of parts and materials to suit most industrial, agricultural and viticultural needs.
